This is Nekomi Kasai. X3 I created her since 2002. She's always been a firechild, so her clothes reflect her persona and powers. She's usually your ordinary catgirl. But when i read =Endling's journal about the OC tournament, i couldn't resist entering her for it. So as a character for battle, i had to add "weapons" and accessories for her protection.

BACKGROUND:
Kasai is a fearless firechild. The Flame element is passed down by the females in her family line. She is the only heir to the Nekomi clan. Where she lives, everyone has an extended part of hair that resembles ears (sometimes people think they really are ears but they're not). The other tribes are: (Monkey), (Bear), (Bird) and (dragon).

Kasai was given the family's heirloom, a shawl tied with big golden bells at each end when she was 10 yrs old. The shawl is worn like a normal scarf but when Kasai bangs the bells together, it levitates for battle mode.

The bells are special objects that hold a strong power feared by their family's enemies. The bells make no sound but when used in battle, they are the deadliest and most difficult things on her. So it took great control for Kasai to learn the effect of the bells physically and mentally. And eventually, they submitted to her mind.

STRENGTHS:
~ She can instantly kill an opponent by banging the bells together 3 times (like the Cymbals instrument). The first ring will stop the opponent's heartbeat for a second. The 2nd ring will make him difficult to breathe (like someone choking him/her). The 3rd ring will then permanently stop the beating of the heart.
~ Her levitating shawl can stretch and flex a great distance to hit an opponent when on battle mode, it is great for far-distance combat.
~ Kasai is a natural feline, equipped with the ability to jump high, maintain balance and scratch your eyes out.
~ Her hair turns white and she becomes a living torch, if you say the words "Come kitty!"


WEAKNESSES:
~ The bells are like magnets, omitting positive and negative energies. This should be easy for her opponents, their goal is never to make the bells touch. But beware, Kasai also mastered how to do otherwise.
~ If an opponent is able to disarm the shawl from Kasai, it is as lifeless as a paper. Only her touch can re-activate its Battle mode.
~ If one of her family dies. They mean the world to her.
~ Don't ever feed her fish!

GOALS:
~ While roaming around the forest, Kasai overheard from a nearby tribe that the Nekomi clan's only heir had a twin brother. Eversince then, she embarked on a journey to find her twin. Along with her is Saru Kaishi of the Monkey tribe, her bestfriend and lover.
