Next activities continued on with bigger surprises! A small desire triggered an impromptu adventure. Think of it like this: "Let's go away for the weekend." "Hmm, i actually wanted to go to Disneyland this year." "Okay, we're going!"

Haha! Well it wasn't exactly Disneyland, but somewhere really close to it. So my habibi and I ended up traveling to this magical place we heard about, called Fantasy World.

It's like a replica Disneyland, and our local media would shoot their scenes there. But our sole purpose was to canvas for possible venues for a special shoot hehehe! We still made the best of our stay and took lots of photos! More here: Kitteh Weekend getaway

The adventure left me drained haha! Our first time out of the city together Next I divided another time for the family. It was our dear grandmother's birthday and we had a grand reunion as always! HAPPY BIRTHDAY LOLA CORING!!

Onward! I spend the rest of my free days at home where my sewing team, Feline en Masse gathered together and took on our biggest project yet.

Why such a big gathering? Because we were officially commissioned to do the uniforms/outfits for our new partner, Secret Garden Kissaten cafe. This month of May they will be hosting a maid & butler cafe with a Vocaloid twist! And I join them as their Lady-in-Waiting and lovable cashier, Kasane Teto:

Now for my next surprise, I have prepared another sleepless night of hardwork and effort. Yes another armored cosplay, Samus Aran of METROID!! ** My version is semi-armor. I made her Zero-suit out of cotton spandex & it's my first time working on a different material. As an amateur seamstress, I tested it on myself first before opening up for customers. My favorite aspect was styling her wig, I loved the upper part how clean it looks! And because of that, the fun times of the shoot was the hair flipping hehe! This cosplay was originally planned for the Tagcom event last month, but due to circumstances, I wasn't able to debut it. So when I heard from my propsmaker that he will be in this month's game event, eGames Domnination VI, he told me that I can pick it up there! I was so initially I said, "Ok yay! I'll be getting my armor!" and then I thought, "Hey it's a game event! Metriod is a game, why not cosplay Samus there too?" OMG last minute decision is last minute haha!!

It is incomplete in many ways because I was unprepared, plus the costume still needed final touches but i was still very happy about it. I had a good friend tell me more about Samus, even if I've seen her gameplay & read her history. I wanted a fan to let me know how I can bring her justice. And when he saw the photos, he told me I did! So this cosplay is dedicated to you my friend WHEEEEE~!

Finally, something to distress all the recent activities, a couple of friends and I decided to watch the most anticipated movie of the month: [link] and [link]

Everything spells EPIC! The story, the comic relief, the action, the 3D effects, the characters.. and among the characters, there were two that stood out for me. I was really thrilled with what they did in the movie: [link]

YES!. Hawkeye and Hulk. Whow both "h" hehehe! Why? Hawkeye.. shooting an enemy from behind while TALKING to Captain America. Like he's got eyes at the back of his head!! That's Hawkeye for you hehe! I know it's nothing new, but as a lover of the sport, it was whowwww IMBA!  As for Hulk, he's just lovable hehehe! I was so0o0o happy when he changed the usual bad-guy-talking-their-prey-to-death, by deciding to smash Loki like a piece of paper while he was still lecturing hahahahaha! HULK SMASH!!  FINALLY!!
